Subarnarekha Model Nursery
Subarnarekha Model Nursery is a unique initiative of TRCSC.
It was established in the year of 2012 on a captive area of 4 hectares of land, with the
support from Jharkhand State Horticulture Mission, Government of Jharkhand.
The main objectives of establishing and running this model nursery are to produce
quality planting materials, e.g. saplings of fruit bearing plants, forestry plants,
medicinal and aromatic plants, and of flowers and vegetables and to promote
horticultural practices among the local farmers.
Apart from these, the nursery is producing vermi-compost and imparting training
of producing it to the farmers.
The nursery is accredited by National Horticulture Board (NHB), Government of India.
